Sunday, December 10, 2017 It's a busy day out there for the planets, folks. It began stirring yesterday as Mercury waxed strongly into his second trine with Uranus as Venus waxed in square to Neptune. These both perfect early this morning. Mercury to Uranus blossomed at 4:29 AM EST shortly following our perfection of the Last Quarter Moon. Venus in square to Neptune perfected at 8:48 AM. Mercury will go on to square Chiron in our afternoon just as the Mercury ruled Moon in Virgo finds him by square. This lights up a mutable t-square between Mercury Rx, Chiron and the Moon that may draw up some painful memories of the past, exacerbate illnesses or just leave us feeling a bit hollow today. Poinsettia symbolism Mercury to Uranus likely gave inspiration or a brief feeling of clarity. But, Venus to Neptune fogged the glass up again. Monday, December 4, 2017 Early this morning, our big beautiful Gemini Moon made a brilliant sextile with Uranus in Aries. This is good energy to wake up to. Indicating more dryness than under yesterday's sky and a bit of levity, as well. It's spry and alert. The Moon remains busy for most of the morning until winding out her trek through Gemini with an opposition to both Mercury and Saturn between noon and 2 PM. There is also a trine with Mars in Libra just prior to the Saturn opposition. What this tells me is that there is likely a tendency toward chatter. Maybe even gossipy. But, if the communicative efforts are aimed to mislead or what have you, then the aspect to Mercury/Saturn from the Moon will...essentially...nail the person trying to spread the misinformation. In the long view, what he have on tap under the remaining of this Gemini Moon should be aimed toward delay of action (Mars in Libra) until the information picture is more clear. Listen more than you speak though...

The write up for this Full Moon was written in January of last year for my book "By the Light of the Moon." I'm telling you this because I have not read it since and when I wrote it, I had literally no inkling of where we would be or what the world would look like in this day. None. But, when I went back and read this to see if it was still applicable, to edit if necessary or tweak where needed, I found nothing that needed to be changed. Please...do not take that as brag. Sunday, November 26, 2017 This morning, we wake up under a Pisces Moon and meet with the “push” of the first quarter by noon. This square between Sagittarius and Pisces occurs at 4 mutable 38. In traditional terms, both the Sun and Moon answer to Jupiter here. Typically First Quarter Moons call us toward action directed at the intentions we may have declared at the previous New Moon. Often the energy is crunchy and comes with challenges or obstacles we are tasked with dealing with in some way. Yet, between the signs of Sagittarius and Pisces, this may be more of an imaginative and dreamy affair more than one that calls for physical exertion or any kind of “muscling” our way through. This looks more like surrendering thyself to the “ethereal powers that be” for assistance than taking up the reigns ourselves.
