Morning Star: Astrology for the week of October 14 to October 21, 2018

Sunday, October 14, 2018 Today kind of drifts by under a Void Moon in Sagittarius. It looks relatively low key and routine matters likely go off without many hang ups. Which can be rather nice. The Moon enters Capricorn and becomes active again at 3:17 PM EDT. Though, that passage doesn't contain much excitement either. What I actually see is a solid case of the Monday dreads. But, before we meet with that heavy potential, the Moon lights up a nice trine with Uranus in Taurus. We can gently “let our hair down” and maybe even experiment with new foods (as an example). There is a great chance of finding a new favorite. Course, there is always a chance to find a “never again” too. But, new and is a good way to go. These are Earth signs so even though it is Uranus in play, things likely come about slowly, methodically and has plenty of good old dusty common sense. This can also be used to consider new traditions you may want to create within your home or with your family. The Moon th...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of September 17 to September 23, 2018

Overview It seems to me that the majority of this week is occupied with brain activity. Mars in Air coming in for a third square to his current ruler, Uranus in Taurus, is indicative of busy brain as well as physical activity (9/18). It could even denote some weird weather. Mercury will also find the Sun by conjunction in Virgo (9/20) which is also a “weathery” nod. Then, when the Sun enters the Air sign of Libra he will also trine Mars keeping the brain and mouth engaged and active (9/23). There are hiccups, of course. Mercury will also oppose Chiron (9/22) and square Saturn (9/23) once he enters Libra. The Sun is, of course, right behind him by the end of the week ready to follow him through these aspects. Virgo season comes to a close on 9/22 as the Sun enters Libra under a Pisces Moon. The Sun in Libra will oppose Chiron on 9/23 leading up to our Full Moon in Aries on 9/24. The Full Moon is certainly in orb (falling at 2 degrees) of a Cardinal t-square with Saturn in Capricorn. Bu...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of July 30 to August 5, 2018

Monday, July 30, 2018 Today the Moon resides in Pisces. She isn't very active through the biggest part of the day. It's a relaxed and floaty kind of feel. However, once she rises on the East Coast tonight, she starts getting busy with the rest of the sky a little more directly. And, I don't see this as a bad thing. Jupiter and Neptune are now waxing back into trine. Tonight, the Moon will pass through there and link the two up right in time for a potentially restful night. Which...isn't a horrible thing. Sleep has been a restless thing over the last bit due the jangly energy of the eclipses and the fact that one of those was a lunar eclipse/full moon. Folks experience that differently. Some feeling exhausted, others manic. Either way, rest is helpful for each. Tonight, we may actually get that chance. The Moon finds Jupiter in Scorpio by trine at 11:22 PM EDT. She moves on form a conjunction with Neptune at 3:29 AM. There may not be much physical energy in our daylight...
