Consciousness is like a river. William James was the first to coin the phrase calling it the “stream of consciousness” in 1890. According to psychology consciousness refers to our awareness of our own mental processes, such as our thoughts, feelings and sensations. It's likened to self-awareness and the ability to introspect, or look inward and examine these processes. I have heard this referred to in a collective sense in that the collective conscious is also like a river continually flowing by in the energetic sphere. Many, including myself, belief all have access to this river of collective information and are even able to capture a cup of wisdom from it from time to time and bring it back to share. The thing about that being research studies have shown that we only are able to experience one mental event at a time within the quickly moving mind stream. So, even though there are rivers of information inside of us and oceans of information all around us, our cups can only captur...

We can never consider these acts as “normal” everyday occurrences. Cannot allow ourselves to become accepting of that. Because, it is frankly NOT acceptable regardless of how routine they seem to be in our world at this time. I don't know what the answers are to the problems around the globe. Each time I look at this chart, I have an inkling toward “Wow! It's suddenly spring!” And, here's the thing. Spring officially started quite a while back, actually, as the Sun crossed the Aries/Solstice point. Yet, at the same time, Mercury went retrograde and decided to give us a few extra dollops of wintry leftovers. Plus, it's pretty typical for Spring to show up a little late when the New Moon in Aries is at the tail end of the sign...like we have here. However, the proximity of the New Moon to Uranus says...sudden bursting forth. So, at this New Moon and following as the Sun finds Uranus by conjunction, this is literally how it may feel. One day a snowy, cold blustery world and an impatience in waiting for the season to really get rolling to...all of a sudden you walk outside and the whole world is blossoming. Beautiful sight.
