New Moon in Sagittarius 2017

Image
The stone of your future awaits for you to carve out your "angel." All you need in order to do that is a willingness to get your hands busy, imagination, patience all mixed with belief in yourself, what you are able to create and in the fact that all is divinely led.  For the Sun and Moon at 27 Sagittarius: The sculptors vision is taking form under his hands. Here comes all your craft work to life. Imaginary and creative concepts are brought into tangible form. Our self-sculpting beings to show. We are acting upon creative powers in an effort to manifest. And, it's working. Happy dreams and vivid nightmares manifest. How well can you direct the flow? For the Moon's Ruler, Jupiter, at 15 Scorpio: Laughing children play on five mounds of white sand. Five is a tricky number. It does present challenge and choice. It also points to our earthly senses, sight, touch, sound, taste and smell. The ground we are playing on is pure and clean. All physical senses are engaged. Howe...

Full Moon in Gemini 2017

The write up for this Full Moon was written in January of last year for my book "By the Light of the Moon." I'm telling you this because I have not read it since and when I wrote it, I had literally no inkling of where we would be or what the world would look like in this day. None. But, when I went back and read this to see if it was still applicable, to edit if necessary or tweak where needed, I found nothing that needed to be changed. Please...do not take that as brag. I cannot take credit for barely anything that I write. All I know to tell you is that it comes through me but not from me. If that makes any sense at all. It makes more sense to me as this year has moved forward and I've come to a place that I feel like I can trust (which, is actually a big deal for someone who has a lot of Scorpio particularly on Mercury to be able to say) the source from whence it came.  Find your faith. Hold on to it. Pray. Take your claws out of whatever your problems are. Turn t...

Morning Star: Astrology for September 11 to September 15, 2017

Monday, September 11, 2017 This morning, the Moon is considered Void as she works her way through the last bit of Taurus while creating a Yod with Jupiter and Saturn in our early morning hours. Saturn is an assured player in our week to come. Venus in Leo will meet him by trine tomorrow evening. The Sun in Virgo will meet him by square on the 13 th . Of course, the Moon will oppose him from Gemini, as well. At 3:30 PM, the Moon does leave Taurus and re-activate in Gemini. Her first aspect is a harsh square to her current ruler, Mercury in Virgo (5:55 PM). The clutch between these two is finding usefulness in conversation. Gemini can chatter incessantly. Mercury in Virgo wants to know the point. By giving conversations an end point, a problem to solve, then Gemini's curiosity and willingness to learn comes in handy. But, if you've ever tried to fix something with someone standing over your shoulder chattering about nonsense and asking ten million questions, then you know how thi...

Morning Star: Astrology for September 1 to September 3, 2017

Friday, September 1, 2017 If you are reading this, pat yourself on the back. You have officially survived August! Of course, some of the energy from August will follow us into the first of September reactivating our most recent eclipse point. Today, the Moon resides in Capricorn. We find her softened by sextile to Neptune as the Sun rises. This does increase sensitivity and could make getting started this morning a slow and relaxed affair. Listening to your favorite tunes while working can help you keep pace and aid production. The sky grows more intense as the day moves forward, however. By 2:29 PM the Moon is conjunct Pluto in Capricorn which could cause fear and paranoia to grow. Or, there could be attempts at emotional manipulation or control as well. The best use of this is focus. Pinpointing the shadowy fears that may usurp us from fulfilling our goals while being given the fortitude to face down those fears as they are recognized. At midnight, the Moon squares Jupiter in Libr...

Morning Star: Astrology for the Weekend of July 29 to July 30, 2017

Saturday, July 29, 2017 Pranks meant to stir fear and phobia. Insidious Clowns. That is what we were dealing with in the US the last time Jupiter in Libra was in square to Pluto. There were other headlines that did correlate. But, this one was easy to remember. Now, the bolts on that square tighten, yet again. The next Jupiter/Pluto square perfects midweek. However, the headlines between this “war of the Gods” have already began trickling into our sphere. Threats from foreign enemies (which has been a thing, anyway), killer carnival rides, public tirades of profanity...all Jupiter/Pluto. These two are insidious bedfellows. With them, they squeeze the ugly out of the collective and put it on public display. Some inflated and meant to catalyze fear/phobia. Some, horrific tales in which a happy result was anticipated. Public threats and shaming. Self-righteous proclamations. It's all coming to the fore now and will continue to be at issue as this square waxes in. A prelude, also like...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of July 10 to July 14, 2017

Monday, July 10, 2017 Today looks fairly light particularly compared to the intensity we had this weekend. That Moon has blossomed and now wanes. With Air entering the equation by way of the Moon and her interaction with Venus in Gemini today and Jupiter in Libra in the morning, things could feel considerably lighter. The Moon trines Venus in Gemini at 2:03 PM. We may feel like socializing and touching base with friends. Benevolent and cheerful messages can be exchanged here. Light sweet nothings and flirtations are possible. The Sun also wanes in his opposition to Pluto. So, pressure and intensity begins to be released from that, as well. At 6:38 PM, the Moon opposes Mercury in Leo who will be a factor in our week to come. This windy Monday leads us into two different Mercury Yods prior to his entrance into his shadow on the 25 th . Our first Yod occurs between a Mercury and Jupiter in Libra forming sextile while both are inconjunct Neptune. Overlaying that Yod, we have Mercury in ...
