Aries is wild. Feral. A full moon in the sign, though absolutely glorious to look at, is particularly so. Visceral desire brimming at the surface. An absolute bursting forth of pure initiating from the gut and on instinct energy. A blaze of glory that only comes in Libra season. So, you know it's also going to be graceful and pretty. An indication that Autumn has arrived in the Northern Hemisphere as we kiss our hot “in the Sun” months goodbye while giving equal time to night and day for a bit. I'm not sorry. This is my favorite time of year. Our Full Moon tomorrow, though, does come in under some distress. Not that we are not accustomed to that. But, this is a bit different though connected to what we have dealt with over the summer. Venus now progresses further into her retrograde shadow. Saturday, May 6, 2017 This morning we wake up to the Moon in Virgo creating a sobering square to Saturn in Sagittarius at 8:43 AM. This aspect prefers task oriented and organized to haphazard non-production. It is a good day to choose from your task list and bring something to completion. At 9:40 AM, the Moon opposes Chiron and reaches Void status. She remains Void until entering Libra at 2:21 PM. Once the Moon shifts from Virgo into Libra the mood moves from task lists to a more social agenda. Knock your chores out early in the day so you can relax a bit this afternoon. At 11:22 PM the Moon opposes her ruler, Venus, currently in Aries. This is not harsh but not entirely comfortable as it calls for balancing of the axis between self and other. Negotiations may be called for or compromise. Most will put their own priorities first and may need to be coaxed to bend in team or collaborative efforts. Win-win situations work best, of course. Saturday, April 22, 2017 This morning is fairly relaxed and leisurely as the Moon in Pisces leaves her sextile with her buddy, the Sun in Taurus. The only major aspect, really, that we are looking at in the “meat” of the day is a conjunction from the Moon to Neptune at 3:59 PM. It doesn't look like an overly productive day. It's more leisurely and relaxed with opportunity to kind of let things settle down a bit and catch up on some rest. It's dreamy and creative. On the low end, it could be swamping emotionally depending on what is going on specifically in your life. But, the good news is the Moon continues to wane so emotionality continues to get less severe in that regard. This is a great day for taking in a movie, napping or heading to a music venue. Some may even prefer to just hole up in blessed quiet alone time and escape the louder callings of the productive world.
