Morning Star: Full Moon in Taurus and the Astrology for the week of October 22

Monday, October 22, 2018 The biggest news about this week is the Full Moon in Taurus around midday on the 24 th . You have likely already blipped across a few write ups on this Moon that stress it's importance along with the astrology of the week to come. I cannot disagree with any of this. It seems to be set up to be a fairly important week ahead. Both the Full Moon and the Sun's entrance into Scorpio are major shifts. Plus, we are looking at a week in which the Sun will oppose Uranus and also meet Venus Rx by conjunction. Underneath what could be viewed as unsettling due the aspects to Uranus (with one also coming in from Venus, herself, next week) we also have some very focused and grounding energy happening in the background on a more subtle level. Mercury in Scorpio meets Pluto in Capricorn by sextile tonight. Venus finds Saturn in Capricorn by sextile just before the perfection of our Full Moon on Wednesday. The issue with all that being, at the first of the week, our A...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of August 27 to September 2, 2018

Monday, August 27, 2018 The Moon still wanes in Pisces this morning finding Neptune by conjunction at about 8 AM. This sets forth a groggy Monday in which we may be tempted to want to reach back and grab hold of the weekend again. However, Mars is also stationing direct in Capricorn at about 10 AM. So, the call to drag ourselves back toward production and accountability is still there. The weekend felt very stalled out due to Mars' condition in preparing to turn back around. As he stations direct under a super sensitized Moon, we could actually feel a little rushed rather than stalled out. There could be some anxiety to deal with due that. This is going to be particularly true under our Moon in Aries. The thing of it being, the anxious energy is due Mars' station. It will level out. The key to that is employ what you learned during the retrograde. Set your own pace. And, attempt to keep that in line with your abilities. Plus, keep your expectations of yourself realistic. After ...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of July 30 to August 5, 2018

Monday, July 30, 2018 Today the Moon resides in Pisces. She isn't very active through the biggest part of the day. It's a relaxed and floaty kind of feel. However, once she rises on the East Coast tonight, she starts getting busy with the rest of the sky a little more directly. And, I don't see this as a bad thing. Jupiter and Neptune are now waxing back into trine. Tonight, the Moon will pass through there and link the two up right in time for a potentially restful night. Which...isn't a horrible thing. Sleep has been a restless thing over the last bit due the jangly energy of the eclipses and the fact that one of those was a lunar eclipse/full moon. Folks experience that differently. Some feeling exhausted, others manic. Either way, rest is helpful for each. Tonight, we may actually get that chance. The Moon finds Jupiter in Scorpio by trine at 11:22 PM EDT. She moves on form a conjunction with Neptune at 3:29 AM. There may not be much physical energy in our daylight...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of June 4 to June 10, 2018

Monday, June 4, 2018 This morning, the Moon is Void in Aquarius all day long following a square with Jupiter in Scorpio at 1:11 AM this morning. There may have been some things that occurred over the weekend or recently that you need to allow to sink in and think about. I would expect this to be particularly true if you have planets around 3-7 degrees fixed, or so. Or, perhaps you just need a day to mull over happenings in general. Either way, with Moon in Aquarius VOC having reached a square with Jupiter prior to, whatever was on your brain when the Moon went out will likely roll around in your brain until she comes back on in Pisces tomorrow at 6:54 AM. If you find this to be the case, allow the thoughts to bounce around but try to avoid over-thinking or over-analyzing. Check perspective. Detail. All that. But, from a position of observance or study. With the Moon Void, it is a good way to approach issues. Contemplative. Logical but also practical. Not immersed in emotion. That la...
