Morning Star: Astrology for the week of August 27 to September 2, 2018

Monday, August 27, 2018 The Moon still wanes in Pisces this morning finding Neptune by conjunction at about 8 AM. This sets forth a groggy Monday in which we may be tempted to want to reach back and grab hold of the weekend again. However, Mars is also stationing direct in Capricorn at about 10 AM. So, the call to drag ourselves back toward production and accountability is still there. The weekend felt very stalled out due to Mars' condition in preparing to turn back around. As he stations direct under a super sensitized Moon, we could actually feel a little rushed rather than stalled out. There could be some anxiety to deal with due that. This is going to be particularly true under our Moon in Aries. The thing of it being, the anxious energy is due Mars' station. It will level out. The key to that is employ what you learned during the retrograde. Set your own pace. And, attempt to keep that in line with your abilities. Plus, keep your expectations of yourself realistic. After ...

Full Moon in PIsces 2018: Time out!

Full Moon in Pisces 2018: Time out! Sabian Symbol for the Moon in Pisces: Heavy traffic on a narrow isthmus. This symbol indicates a funneling and a focus. The symbol itself seems to relate to the fact that Venus and Mercury are both in aspect to Pluto. We begin to see more clearly what is truly important to us. As we focus in on that sheering away all else in an effort to get to it, know that there is something to learn from that as well. Why are we drawn to this? Why is it rising in importance? The funneling can come from a gathering of forces to a common cause. Focus comes into play when we choose one direction out of many options. That's what this symbol indicates. Sabian Symbol for the Sun in Virgo: A chocolate child plays with whites. I don't like how this symbol is worded even if it has been reworded since the original. Here's what I see with it. We have children of different races and backgrounds playing together. It is an illustration of the fact that we are not...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of August 13 to August 19, 2018

Monday, August 13, 2018 There isn't much happening “out there” today or the whole of this week, really. AAAHH! YES I MEAN IT! We have the Moon still active in Virgo all day. But, she doesn't make any major aspects following her trine with Pluto at 7:12 AM this morning. After midnight, she will trine Mars Rx newly in Capricorn before reaching Void status. So, today is good for launching new initiatives (Moon now waxes) as well as putting together plans and prioritizing. Mars coming in by trine is excellent help with that. Many are still trying to get their feet back underneath them following the culmination of eclipse season. Today is a great day to get well grounded and back into routine. The Moon remains Void (following the trine to Mars 00:38 AM EDT in the morning) for only a few minutes. She enters Libra just a few minutes shy of 1 AM. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 The passage of the Moon through Virgo has been a great chance to “let the dust settle.” Using the last two days...

Partial Solar Eclipse/New Moon in Leo: The Revelation

Image
Don't get too hung up on how I titled this Moon. I mean no Biblical implication. What I see coming as a Revelation is more about each of us on an individual level than anything else. Let's have a look and see if I can explain what I mean. First, leading into this final eclipse of the season, we had both the Sun and Mercury square off with Jupiter. Each aspect bringing forth more and more information into the collective, yes. But, even on a deeper level than that, if you were using the power of the retrogrades for introspective purposes, you likely gained a little more insight into yourself. That's largely what retrogrades say to me for the most part. It's a time of self-reflection and introspection more than an outward venture. That does not mean that progress cannot be made. I've witnessed that to be untrue too many times first hand. However, it is a time in which we can look at our own past and experiences and learn from them while also gleaning maturity and wisd...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of August 6 to August 12, 2018

Overview: It's an eventful week in the land of Astrology. We begin on Monday with Venus making a cordial entrance into her home sign of Libra under an active Gemini Moon today at 7:28 PM. At the exact same time, The Sun in Leo squares off with Jupiter in Scorpio occurring as the two approach 15 degrees fixed. Tuesday, Uranus in Taurus stations retrograde. So, we will likely experience a few frustrating (to put it mildly) blips on our radar close to this station which officially happens at 8:26 AM EDT. On Tuesday night, Venus in Libra makes a sweet trine with Mars rx in the early degrees of Air (nice to see these two getting along for a minute, even if the Moon is Void as it occurs). Venus then goes on to oppose Chiron on Wednesday a few hours before the Sun meets Mercury Rx by conjunction between 16-17 degrees Leo. Thursday, Venus continues playing with the rest of the sky found in early degrees by creating an inconjunct with Uranus newly retrograde in Taurus. She meets Saturn in ...
