Morning Star: Astrology for the week of July 30 to August 5, 2018

Monday, July 30, 2018 Today the Moon resides in Pisces. She isn't very active through the biggest part of the day. It's a relaxed and floaty kind of feel. However, once she rises on the East Coast tonight, she starts getting busy with the rest of the sky a little more directly. And, I don't see this as a bad thing. Jupiter and Neptune are now waxing back into trine. Tonight, the Moon will pass through there and link the two up right in time for a potentially restful night. Which...isn't a horrible thing. Sleep has been a restless thing over the last bit due the jangly energy of the eclipses and the fact that one of those was a lunar eclipse/full moon. Folks experience that differently. Some feeling exhausted, others manic. Either way, rest is helpful for each. Tonight, we may actually get that chance. The Moon finds Jupiter in Scorpio by trine at 11:22 PM EDT. She moves on form a conjunction with Neptune at 3:29 AM. There may not be much physical energy in our daylight...

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius: And Justice for All!

This Full Moon Eclipse marks a pinnacle of frustration brought about by Mars retrograde in Aquarius. That's the expression of this at the lowest end. I am seeing folks continually devolving into this status of frustration due various personal happenings in their lives. It all deals with Mars. As well as our ability to exert our energy in an effective way and to handle matters of fire which of course includes anger and frustration. At this eclipse, Mars is yet again slowing down. He turns direct in early August. Mars is about as close to Earth as he can get in his revolution around the Sun while the Moon is about as far away from Earth as she can get on her path around our planet. What we are and have been learning since the Solar Eclipse in Cancer are lessons that come from the Page of Wands. The curious student of fire. What this Full Moon can reveal on a personal level are the results of the lessons we have gleaned thus far in regard to what motivates, angers, frustrates, inspir...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of July 23 to July 29, 2018

Monday, July 23, 2018 Today looks a little uncomfortable and perhaps confusing, to me. We begin under the adventurous Sagittarius Moon. Venus in Virgo now begins to leave her sextile with Jupiter. She is waxing into an opposition with Neptune Rx which is due to perfect on Tuesday evening. However, the Moon links this waxing opposition up today creating a mutable t-square which finds outlet in the sign of Gemini. The Moon squares Venus in Virgo at 11:36 AM. This is the mark of discomfort and perhaps a conflict between want and need. It can even denote friction between concepts of “mother” versus “mate.” Typically the disconnect between Virgo and Sagittarius is simplicity versus the grandiose. Venus in Virgo is just not gregarious. Can't say the same about Moon in Sagittarius. It's can be a rather boisterous (though uplifting and pleasant) energy which often times is “too showy” in terms of Venus in the sign of the Virgin. The thing about it is, though, under a Sagittarius Moon,...

Solar Eclipse New Moon in Cancer 2018-What fresh Hell is this?

Image
Sabian Symbols For the New Moon: An operatic prima donna sings to a glittering audience. Elevation and popularization of human values trough art a a social factor. Supreme realization of the life ambition. The Prima Donna symbol is relatable to the sign of Cancer. Definitely. This degree is also a late transitional degree that blends Cancer into Leo. The sign of is Leo not irrelevant at this eclipse. The nodal axis (which is why it is an eclipse) is still in the early degrees of the sign. Mercury is also going to be in Leo for a bit as he turns retrograde on 7/26. That being said, the symbol itself alludes to performance. Acting. Playing a role. Putting a show. All things that Leo likes to do. Learning this begins at the end of Cancer. Since the current eclipse occurs in the sign of a Cancer and the nodes are also transitioning here soon we are seeing this latter degree Cancer and early degree Leo themes swirl together. As both finale and introduction. The mother and the child. Gentle...
