Full Moon in Cancer 2018

Image
image credit: Josephine Wall The First day of our New Year features a huge Full Moon in Cancer. It's interesting to me that this lunation features 3 bodies in their home sign. Saturn in Capricorn. Neptune in Pisces and Moon in Cancer. Plus, all three are connected by aspect. At this lunation, we also have Uranus in Aries vibrating in station preparing to turn direct. This happens on January 3 at 24 Aries 34. Following this, all planets in the sky are direct until March. In March, Jupiter is the first to station doing so at 23 Scorpio 13 on March 9. Now. I'm not a big believer in the idea that when all planets are direct you can make phenomenal progress. However, what I have noticed is what you are working on and building within that time frame of “all direct” is stuff you will revisit in some way throughout the course of the year and during the retrogrades. For me, all direct is ripe for setting a lot of little projects or initiatives off that you already plan on making part ...

Morning Star: Daily Astrology for the week of December 25 to December 30, 2017

Monday, December 25, 2017 Much has changed since the beginning of last week. And, we have a few more shifts ahead in our near future. One of those shifts occurs today as Venus leaves the sign of Sagittarius and moves into Capricorn joining the rest of the “party” there. This occurred just at the genesis of this day right after midnight while the Moon in Pisces was Void. She will remain Void for most of the day giving an emotionally relaxed feel to the day on the whole. However, once again, under the Void Moon Venus is busy. She finds Saturn by conjunction at about 1 PM EST. Now, let me tell you, Venus in Capricorn is not everyone's cup of tea. All this in Capricorn can feel rather heavy to some, actually. However, those of us that have a Venus/Saturn vibe in their chart or that have Venus in an Earth sign may really dig Venus' transit through the sign of the goat. What happens here is Venus is tasked to grow up. She wants us to act maturely and responsibly in the realm of money...

Morning Star: Astrology for the week of December 18 to December 23, 2017

Monday, December 18, 2017 This morning we wake up to a call from duty as the New Moon officially finds Saturn by conjunction at 8:10 AM Est. Sunday was well spent readying things for the week. Monday would like for us to have a plan. We feel better if we do. The Moon is Void briefly until entering Capricorn at 8:34 AM. The Saturn feel of the morning continues into the day. So, be a good goat and get to it. Take care of business. One step. One level. One chore. Initiate. Build. Step one of where you are going starts from where you are. Also, in terms of goatly ambitions, tonight the Moon finds Mars in Scorpio by sextile. Got a lot to do? There is energy here that is well used toward burning the midnight oil. You could get quite a bit accomplished and have energy to sustain you through the nighttime hours. If you don't need to use it toward that, then this can take sexier and more indulgent tone. As in deeply restorative efforts that may be needed following a recent illness or injury...

New Moon in Sagittarius 2017

The stone of your future awaits for you to carve out your "angel." All you need in order to do that is a willingness to get your hands busy, imagination, patience all mixed with belief in yourself, what you are able to create and in the fact that all is divinely led.  For the Sun and Moon at 27 Sagittarius: The sculptors vision is taking form under his hands. Here comes all your craft work to life. Imaginary and creative concepts are brought into tangible form. Our self-sculpting beings to show. We are acting upon creative powers in an effort to manifest. And, it's working. Happy dreams and vivid nightmares manifest. How well can you direct the flow? For the Moon's Ruler, Jupiter, at 15 Scorpio: Laughing children play on five mounds of white sand. Five is a tricky number. It does present challenge and choice. It also points to our earthly senses, sight, touch, sound, taste and smell. The ground we are playing on is pure and clean. All physical senses are engaged. Howe...
