Sunday, November 26, 2017 This morning, we wake up under a Pisces Moon and meet with the “push” of the first quarter by noon. This square between Sagittarius and Pisces occurs at 4 mutable 38. In traditional terms, both the Sun and Moon answer to Jupiter here. Typically First Quarter Moons call us toward action directed at the intentions we may have declared at the previous New Moon. Often the energy is crunchy and comes with challenges or obstacles we are tasked with dealing with in some way. Yet, between the signs of Sagittarius and Pisces, this may be more of an imaginative and dreamy affair more than one that calls for physical exertion or any kind of “muscling” our way through. This looks more like surrendering thyself to the “ethereal powers that be” for assistance than taking up the reigns ourselves. Sunday, November 19, 2017 Today the Moon waxes in Sagittarius. The energy coloring the day comes largely from the Moon in square to Neptune at about 1 PM EST and the lingering tension of the Mars to Pluto square that perfected this morning at 7:09 AM. What this tells me is there may a push to escape from the pressure of Mars/Pluto back into personal spheres and potentially end up wrestling with our own demons rather those found in the outside world. Unfortunately, none of these energies fit well with our current Moon. In typical form, Sagittarius Moon wants levity and lightness of being. She loves and needs to laugh and have the freedom to broaden her horizons. She looks forward to holiday celebrations but today seems to throw a wet blanket upon all things celebratory on the horizon. This is a New Moon. Yes. But, it is so full. What I feel around me most, energetically in the general atmosphere right now, is grief. An energy that Scorpio knows well. At times, folks with heavy Pluto or Neptune aspects, actually kinda crave it. The heaviness and hollow ache of grief feels...familiar. Like home. I don't think anyone has immunity from ever experiencing pain, heartbreak, loss...things that cause deep life altering pain that never completely goes away. Monday November, 13, 2017 Today there seems to be some form and function. But, there is also illusion and perhaps slight of hand. The Moon still yet resides in Virgo. She leaves last night's sextile with Pluto and moves toward a square with Saturn. Prior to all that, Venus and Jupiter meet by conjunction drawing messages from 8 Scorpio. They are both waxing in trine to Neptune in Pisces while the degree of their conjunction alludes to the mirage type imagery fostered under a glittery full Moon. Meanwhile, Mercury in Sagittarius squares off with Neptune at around 6 PM EST. Sabian symbol for 8 Scorpio: High mountain lake is bathed in the full moonlight. Sunday, November 5, 2017 It's a quiet morning for the most part. The Moon is active in Gemini while her ruler rests at the edge of Scorpio. In our early afternoon, Mercury jumps into the fires of Sagittarius. By mid-evening, the Moon is dancing with Mars in Libra. Conversations are uplifting. Laughter and warm talk of festivities begin to fill the air. Mercury in Sagittarius has no clutch, most of the time. It's a very outspoken placement. But, what would you expect falling under Jupiter's rule? Jupiter the God of Excess, expansion, wisdom, joy, laughter...
